Hazardous Fuel Reduction Project

2021 Forest Health Grant
Forest Health Grants can be used to address multi-property projects that concern hazard fuel reduction and ecosystem health in areas with larger-acreage, forested properties. Click the button above to see how CLERC has used this Forest Health Grant. 

Northshore Fuels Crew
The Northshore Fire Protection District is starting a fuels crew that is intended to help Lake County residents with lot clearing and hazard fuel reduction. South Lake Fire Safe Council Chipping Program
With help from CLERC's 2019 Fire Prevention Grant, the South Lake Fire Safe Council operates a no-cost chipping program for Council members. Click the button above to learn more.

Fox Drive Fire Prevention Project
Using funds from the 2019 Fire Prevention Grant, CLERC is offering no-cost tree dead tree removal for residents on Fox and Hoberg Drives on Cobb Mountain. To learn more, click the button above.
Bottle Rock Rd Fuels Reduction Project
Using funds from the 2019 Fire Prevention Grant, CLERC is reducing hazardous fuel loading along Bottle Rock Rd, while also employing practices that will enhance forest health by supporting biodiversity and stand health.
