HWY 29, HWY 175, & BUTTS CANYON EVACUATION ROUTE CLEARING

The South Lake County Fire Protection District plans to clear hazard vegetation 100 feet from the centerline in key areas along Hwy 29, Hwy 175, and Butts Canyon Road.

Using funds from a CalFire Fire Prevention Grant, the Fire Protection District has been able to purchase equipment and fund a crew to conduct evacuation route clearing in some areas of South Lake County. In order to complete this goal, they will need permission from landowners in areas they mean to clear.

Enter your address in the search bar of the interactive map below to determine whether your property falls within 100 feet of the centerline in a key road clearing section.

If your property is highlighted in blue on the map, please submit a right of entry form to CLERC, the Fire Protection District's grant manager.

To download the Right of Entry Form, click here.
To submit the right of entry form electronically, click here. This link will bring you to CLERC's contact form. Please include your ROE as an attachment. Or, mail your ROE to Clear Lake Environmental Research Center, PO Box 636 Lakeport, CA  95453.
