2022 LAKE COUNTY CAL-TREX

Prescribed Fire and Cultural Burning Training Exchange

The Tribal Eco-Restoration Alliance (TERA) and the Watershed Center have partnered to bring a Prescribed Fire and Cultural Burning Training Exchange to Lake County. The event will help participants become better fire practitioners and expand their knowledge of and experience with good fire. All skill and comfort levels are welcome.

This program may help you learn how to:
  • Write a safe, effective burn plan
  • Read the landscape for signs that burning is an appropriate treatment
  • Build and participate in a prescribed fire team
  • And more!
To learn more about the Lake County TREX, including event details and FAQ's, visit the Tribal Eco-Restoration Alliance's TREX webpage. We hope to see you out there.
